Handmade Mug- Delores Pottery

This mug was made using a dark and rich clay body. The darker clay adds warmth to the glazes while the colored slip creates a striking contrast for balance and color variation.  While on the wheel, the clay and colored slip were manipulated and glass pieces were embedded on the outer rim creating a colorful cascade affect and adding to the visual experience.
